How did talented singer/songwriter Mike Scott, ex-pupil of Penpole Point Secondary Modern and David C Johnson, witty, prize-winning performance poet, ex-cadet of the Nautical College Pangbourne find themselves writing this show and sharing a stage? Their entertaining and original “Still doing it” attempts to answer this question, as they talk, sing and poetise on School, Sport, Travel, Art and the consequences of getting old. They maybe of a certain age but they are definitely “ Still Doing it”
Mike Scott is a popular stalwart of the West Country folk scene, who has performed his own songs at many music festivals, including Priddy, Chippenham and Trowbridge Village Pump.
David C Johnson is a slam-winning performance poet and Radio 4 playwright, who has featured at Festivals from Cheltenham to Sheffield and from Newcastle to New Orleans.

Rehearsals are going well for the next performance of "Still Doing It" with Mike Scott on 16th October as part of Bristol Poetry Festival 2017.

Manuscript of my new collection " Fallen Apples" to be published by Paralalia is now at printers to be typeset. Should be checking final proofs soon.

Recording at Bunker Studio
Had a good session at the Bunker this morning recording my poem "Clifton to Easton" for the soundtrack of short film based on the poem. Also had time to record one or two more that will be in new collection " Fallen Apples".

Last night at Acoustic Night at Halo Bristol
I had a great time at Acoustic Night yesterday, as the featured poet and also enjoying the other musicians and poets. Ralph Colmar filmed my set and I hope to have some clips up on the site soon.
